[Updated: August 2020
I started selling my patches for my future quilts at www.ocsfollowme.com

These original WW2 patch quilts are the result of an 8-year project that I undertook from 2005-2013. The reason behind the length of the project is three fold: the cost of acquiring the patches, actually being able to find the patches, and the fact that this was my first quilt(s) that I ever completely made. Oh, and I also spent 12 months during that time in Kandahar, Afghanistan.

There are over 870 different patches on these quilts!!

These quilts are dedicated to the men and women who served, sacrificed, and supported the front lines and the home front during WW2. When I think back to my 12 month deployment, I know fellow Soldiers that were extended to 15 or even 17 months-or longer. None of this compares to the 3-5 year deployments that our servicemen endured through in WW2.

It is my goal to have these quilts preserve the memories of these heroes by putting them on display across the country. I am currently trying to find a permanent home for these quilts in a major museum/library/exhibit. So if you can think of any good ideas or have the ability to make this happen--please contact me!

In the mean time, I will be putting the quilts into shows in California. I currently reside in Orange County.

The labels were sewn onto the quilts on 16 July 2013 so all of the major work has been completed. I still have some more patches that I need to acquire for Quilt #2 before it is "officially" completed.

I have been acquiring patches for a 3rd quilt and 4th quilt as new insignia keep on popping up. I have the sewing machines to make them, however, I just need to find the time.
